Bhushan Kumar's wife, Divya Khossla is hitting the headline after she slammed Alia Bhatt rigging the box office numbers for her latest release Jigra and claimed that Bhatt allegedly purchased tickets for 'fake collection.' This controversy comes amid her claims that Jigra is copied from her film Savi.

While the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress has yet to respond, Jigra producer Karan Johar shared a cryptic note on his Instagram following Divya's remarks. Johar's note read, "Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools."

Reacting to Johar's cryptic note, Divya penned a note and hit back at him, stating, "When you are so accustomed to stealing what rightfully belongs to others, you will always seek shelter in silence. You will have no voice, no spine."

Earlier, she shared a quote that read, "Truth will always offend fools opposed to it."

The feud began when Divya shared a photo of an empty theater, alleging that the theaters screening Jigra are running empty.

Divya wrote, "Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra."

She also added the hashtags, 'we should not fool the audience, truth over lies.'

Savi achieved a worldwide gross of Rs 17.81 crore. Jigra, on the other hand, has earned Rs 6.50 crore on its second day, taking its total to Rs 11.05 crore. While on its day 1, Jigra managed to collect Rs 4.55 crore

Talking about the similarities between Divya's film Savi and Jigra.

Savi, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, is about a housewife named Savitri Sachdeva (Savi), played by Divya, who is is willing to go to great lengths to free her husband from prison in England.

In Jigra, Bhatt’s character plays the role of Satya Anand, who is on a mission to save her younger brother, who is imprisoned in a foreign jail.
