CBI nabs key accused who stole NEET-UG paper from NTA trunk

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made a significant breakthrough on Tuesday with the arrest of a key accused from Jharkhand suspected of stealing the NEET-UG question paper from the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) trunk.

The CBI also apprehended his accomplice in Hazaribagh.

Earlier this month, the CBI had detained the prime accused, Rakesh Ranjan alias Rocky, from Bihar’s Nalanda. Rocky is believed to be one of the key players in the NEET paper leak scandal.

With these latest arrests, the total number of individuals apprehended in connection with cases related to question paper leaks, impersonation, and other irregularities has now reached 14.
