Recently, a viral post about an unusual catering decision has taken X by storm. An X user named Susmita (@shhuushhh_) shared a picture featuring a Swiggy food delivery agent in one corner. The photo seemed to be taken inside a tent set up for a special event. On one long table, stacks of sealed black boxes holding food were visible. Cold drink bottles were kept nearby and water bottles were seen on another nearby table. The X user captioned the photo, "They ordered food online for an engagement ceremony?? Bhai I have seen everything."

The original X post has received over 215K views so far. Users were quite amused by the idea and shared funny comments in reply. Several jokes were about the reactions of halwais and regular caterers to Swiggy replacing them. A few made jokes about other examples of "jugaad" that the couple may have done. For instance, one user joked that they would have booked transport for themselves via Ola/Uber. Another claimed that such an engagement ceremony is very "Gen-Z" in style. A few felt that ordering food like this could reduce wastage. Check out some of the reactions below:

Smart move. No wastage with giving too many options. People can carry the meal back home.

Acha hai, not everyone may like the idea of spending crazily just because of subconscious pressures , for a set of people half of whom may not even turn up to meet in years
