European natural gas prices jumped more than ten percent on Monday after the closure of a pipeline linking key producer Norway with Britain. In morning deals, Europe’s benchmark contract for natural gas was at 38.70 euros per megawatt hour. However the price remains far below 2022 levels seen after Russia’s Ukraine invasion.
