After showing a steady run at the box office for three days, the latest release Kill dropped on its Day 4 on Monday. The Lakshya and Raghav Juyal starrer opened at Rs 1.25 crore. It further made Rs 2.15 crore on the second day, 2.7 crore on the third day.
The actioner, however showed a major drop on Monday, minting only Rs 1.30 crore, taking a total box office collection in India to Rs 7.40 crore.

Kill released on July 5. It is the first collaboration between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and Guneet Monga and Achin Jain’s Sikhya Entertainment. It also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya and Tanya Maniktala. Kill had its premiere at Midnight Madness of the Toronto International Film Festival on 7 September 2023. It was also screened at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Kill opened with mixed to positive reviews. Its story follows an army commando Amrit, played by Lakshya who is on a high-stakes mission aboard a New Delhi-bound train to save his lady love Tulika, played by Tanya Maniktala from Raghav Juyal’s Fani. The trailer of the film hinted at high octane action and violent scenes, which many stated was a departure for the regular Karan Johar and Guneet Monga brand of films.
In an exclusive chat with Zoom, its director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat said one can expect a sequel to Kill. Speaking on reuniting with Lakshya, Nikhil shared, “Why not! He is an amazing actor and a good human being as well. Plus if the film keeps getting love then we may have another KILL! Yes, a sequel.”
