Purple reflects spirituality, ambition, and prosperity. On this final day of Navratri, devotees worship Goddess Siddhidatri, the granter of supernatural powers and spiritual enlightenment. Wearing purple symbolises ambition, wealth, and divine wisdom.

The colour associated with this day is purple, symbolising luxury, grandeur, and nobility. On the ninth day, halwa, puri, black gramme, seasonal fruits, kheer, and coconut are offered to Mata Siddhidatri. It is auspicious to wear purple or violet colour while worshipping the goddess. This colour is a symbol of spirituality.
