The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has initiated the registration process for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2024. Eligible candidates can complete the OTET 2024 registration form by visiting the official website at bseodisha.ac.in.
The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) evaluates candidates' eligibility for primary and upper primary teaching positions in the state. The application period for OTET 2024 remains open until July 5, 2024. Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the exam are scheduled to be conducted offline on August 9, 2024.
Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 600 for one paper and Rs 900 for both papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Candidates belonging to all other categories are required to pay Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1,400 for both papers.

OTET 2024 – Direct Link To Register
The OTET 2024 exam comprises two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2, each lasting 2.5 hours. Both papers consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark and no negative marking. To pass, candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying score. General category candidates need 60%, while OBC/SC/ST candidates require 50%. Those who pass will receive an OTET Certificate valid for seven years from the date of issue.
