23 injured in bus accident along east-west highway in Nawalparasi

As many as 23 people were injured in a passenger bus accident at the Binayi Triveni River in Nawalparasi District along the East-West Highway. The bus, en route from Kathmandu to Rajasthan, India, met with an accident near the Binayi rivulet in Binayi Triveni-1.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Bahadur Poudel from the District Police Office stated that the bus (RJ 14 PC 3545), carrying 45 passengers, overturned on the road on Tuesday.

Twenty-three passengers were injured, while the remaining passengers were unharmed. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the local Binayi Triveni Primary Hospital.
