According to reports, passengers were evacuated and taken to safety. The incident reportedly happened before a scheduled departure. Heathrow Airport has confirmed to the Daily Mail that no passenger was on board the aircraft when it caught fire. There were also no injuries, reports say.
The videos that emerged showed firefighters trying to extinguish the blaze, as large clouds of black smoke rose high up in the sky.
