Aju Varghese, Arjun Asokan To Make Tamil Debut With Prabhu Deva’s Moon Walk

We had earlier reported that the Mozart of Madras A R Rahman and the Michael Jackson of India, Prabhu Deva, will be collaborating for the sixth time on a film titled Moon Walk.

Now, we have reports that Malayalam actors Arjun Asokan and Aju Varghese have joined the cast of the film. The news was shared recently by both actors over their individual social media handles. Aju Varghese shared the poster of the film with the caption, “MOONWALK Starring @PDdancing @iYogiBabu @AjuVarghesee #ArjunAshokan @Satzsathish321 @NishmaChengapp5 #SushmithaNayak #arrpd6 #moonwalk (sic)” The same was confirmed by Arjun Asokan via his social media.

Both actors will be making their Tamil debut with this film.

Produced by media house Behindwoods, Moon Walk is being directed by the founder and CEO of Behindwoods, Manoj NS. The film has cinematography by Anoop VS, and editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta.

The makers of the film, Behindwoods, in a statement said, “With A R Rahman and Prabhu Deva teaming up again after 25 years, expectations skyrocketed to the peak among fans. The title Moon Walk is a token of tribute to both the firebrands.”

The ensemble star-cast of the film includes Prabhu Deva, Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Satz, Nishma and Sushmita among others.

The makers disclosed that the film will be a humorous family entertainer and that AR Rahman was composing the songs for the film and that it would be a treat to fans, who have been waiting for the special album.

Second Schedule Of Filming On

The unit is currently in the second schedule of shooting. Shooting is on in Chennai and sources claim that the film has shaped up extremely well. The film will be a wholesome family entertainer laced with happiness, fun, laughter and the makers are planning it as a grand Pan-Indian release in 2025.
