Amit Shah to launch ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra’ in Ahmedabad on Tuesday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will flag off the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra’ in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.

The campaign encourages citizens across the country to hoist the national flag at their homes, with the goal of fostering patriotism and strengthening national unity. It also aims to raise awareness about the significance of the Indian National Flag.

The initiative is part of the nationwide ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ launched in 2021 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently urged citizens to participate in this campaign during his 112th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address on July 28. He encouraged people to change their social media profile pictures to the tricolor, transforming the initiative into a mass movement.

Echoing the Prime Minister’s appeal, Home Minister Amit Shah also called for widespread participation and sharing of selfies with the national flag.
