Noted South Indian actor Fahadh Faasil said he was clinically diagnosed with Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) at the age of 41. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects the brain’s ability to regulate attention, behavior, and impulse control. It is common in children but can also affect adults.
Speaking after dedicating Peace Valley Children’s Village at nearby Kothamangalam on Sunday, the Aavesham actor said that while roaming around the children’s village, he asked a doctor whether it was easy to cure ADHD.
“He told me it can be easily cured if it is diagnosed at a young age. I asked whether it can be cured if it is diagnosed at the age of 41. I am clinically ADHD diagnosed,” said the Kumbalanghi Nights actor.

A 25-year-old woman from Telangana was killed after being hit by a car in the US’s Florida state, her family said on Monday.
Guntipalli Sowmya died on the spot after she was hit by a speeding car while she was crossing the road on Sunday night, according to information received by her family.
Sowmya, a native of Yadagaripalli in Yadadri Bhongir district, had gone to the US for higher studies. She had completed her Masters from the Florida Atlantic University and was trying to find a job.
Sowmya’s family was shocked upon receiving the news of her death. Her parents Koteswara Rao and Balamani have appealed to the Centre and the state governments to bring her body back to India.
Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy expressed condolences to Sowmya’s family. He said efforts were being made to bring back her mortal remains.

AAP leader Atishi has been summoned by a Delhi court on June 29 in connection with a defamation case filed by the BJP over the Delhi Minister’s poaching claim.
Atishi, who is among the top leaders tasked with running the AAP affairs following Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, had earlier this year alleged that the BJP was attempting to “poach” party MLAs by offering Rs 25 crore each.
Besides Atishi, Mr Kejriwal had also claimed that the BJP had attempted to poach seven AAP MLAs in an attempt to topple the AAP government.
