Annadurai Takes charge as Senior Deputy General Manger & Chief Vigilance Officer of South Western Railway

A. Annadurai, IRSS, has taken over the charge of Senior Deputy General Manager & Chief Vigilance Officer of South Western Railway w.e.f 03.10.2024. He is an officer of Indian Railways Stores Service (IRSS) of 1990 batch. A. Annadurai is an Indian Railways Stores Services officer under the Government of India. He holds a BE (Mechanical Engg) degree from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, and PG Diploma in Public Policy & Management (PGPPM) from IIM, Bangalore. He attended Management Training at Syracuse University, New York, as part of the PGPPM. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at the INSEAD Management Institute in Singapore and Malaysia.

He has already put in for 33 years in Group A in various capacities in the Indian Railways – in Southern Railways, Integral Coach Factory, South Central Railways and East Coast Railways.

Prior to his posting as SDGM&CVO/SWR, he was working as Chief Materials Manager of Southern Railways and initiated in setting up new procurement system for all Engineering Track procurement and Track Machine items of the entire Southern Railways, covering the States of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, in addition to his normal procurement functions.
