Bangladesh PM directs to release detained students amid Anti-Discrimination Movement

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the release of all detained students in the Quota Reform Movement. She made the announcement at a meeting held with the leaders of the Professional Coordination Council at Ganabhaban, Dhaka on Saturday.

The directives came a day after the announcement of a countrywide non-cooperation movement from Sunday and processions across the country on Saturday protesting deadly attacks on rallies of the protesters.
