Entry Into Mumbai Now Free For Light Vehicles, Says Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde

In a big announcement on Monday, Maharashtra state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced toll exemption for light motor vehicles on all five toll booths entering Mumbai.

The decision will come into effect from midnight today, NDTV reported.

Light vehicles entering Mumbai from Airoli, Vashi, Dahisar, Mulund-LBS and Anandnagar will not have to pay toll after this decision.
