Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrated at BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi

The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi is currently abuzz with activity as devotees gather to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most significant festivals in the Hindu calendar.

The ornate temple, which has become a landmark in the UAE capital, is hosting ceremonies and events to mark the birth of Lord Ganesha.

The iconic BAPS Hindu Mandir was inaugurated on February 14, 2024, by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mahant Swami Maharaj, and UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan. It is the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East, standing as a testament to the enduring friendship between India and the UAE, and embodying the spirit of cultural inclusivity, interfaith harmony, and community collaboration.
