Hathras Stampede: Chief Sevadar Dev Prakash Madhukar Surrenders Before Police In Delhi, Lawyer Claims

New Delhi: A latest update has emerged in Hathras stampede incident. The chief sevadar of Manav Mangal Milan Sadbhavna Samagam, Dev Prakash Madhukar, surrendered before police in Delhi, his lawyer claimed.

Dev Prakash Madhukar is the prime suspect and named accused in the case who was on the run, as per reports.

Earlier, the police technical team of cyber expert were trying to locate him through cyber technical technical analysis .

Earlier today, his lawyer said that he has some cardiac issues and he was being treated in the hospital but the police officials were not accepting this theory and raids were being conducted to nab him.

Uttar Pradesh Police SIT team has started a massive manhunt of the organisers belonging to 'Manav Mangal Milan Sadbhavna Samagam'. Sources say that police is looking for those 83 organisers of various ranks who were given responsibility of maintaining peace of event, out of which six are already arrested.

Senior official say that the arrest of Narayan Sarkar Hari alias 'Bhole Baba' is rarest and can only be done if there are clinching evidences found against him. As per sources, only organisers are under police radar and no plans to arrest Narayan Sakar Hari. His location is being traced to avoid embarrassment in case there is evidence found against him.

6 Arrested In Hathras Stampede Case

The Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday arrested six individuals in connection with the Hathras stampede in which 121 people lost their lives at a religious event. The incident took place on Tuesday. Times Now has now accessed the internal inquiry report of the UP Police.
