IndianOil Brings Together 145 Schools to Champion Ethics and Responsibility through Inter-School Quiz Competition 2024

In a grand celebration of ethics and responsibility, IndianOil’s Chief Vigilance Officer, Mr. Anant Kumar Singh, IPS, inaugurated the Inter-School Quiz Competition 2024, bringing together 145 senior secondary schools from across Delhi-NCR. This competition underscored IndianOil’s commitment to promoting a “Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity” among the youth, encouraging students not only to test their knowledge but also to reflect on their future roles as responsible leaders.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Singh emphasized the role of integrity and responsibility in shaping India’s future, urging students to “Be the Change” by embracing ethical values. He applauded schools, teachers, and parents for their active involvement in initiatives like these, noting that nurturing accountability is fundamental to building a brighter, more ethical society.

The competition featured three challenging rounds: an initial written preliminary round, followed by semi-finals, and culminating in a high-stakes final round with the top six teams from the original 145. After a thrilling contest, Mayoor School, Noida emerged as the champion, with KIIT World School, Pitampura, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar SOS Excellence, Sector 17 Rohini, taking first and second runner-up positions, respectively. Mr. Singh, joined by Mr. Rajiv Kacker, ED (Vigilance), awarded trophies and cheques to the winners, while all Top Ten teams were recognized for their exceptional performances. The winning students expressed their commitment to ethical values, sharing insights on Vigilance Awareness Week with great enthusiasm.

Held at the Scope Convention Centre, the event was a central feature of IndianOil’s Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) 2024 observance, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, educators, and senior IndianOil officials.
