Landslides in Baglung Claim 7 Lives; Continuous Rains Threaten More in Mountain Regions

The death toll from separate landslides today in Baglung has reached seven while four have been rescued alive.

In Badigad municipality of Baglung district in Gandaki Province, two were killed when the landslide buried a house in rural municipality-9 and another five died in a landslide burying house in rural municipality 10 at Badigad this morning. Four have been rescued alive from the landslide debris and two are said to be injured severely.
