Madrid holds annual LGBT Pride Parade

Thousands of people waving rainbow flags filled the streets of Madrid on Saturday (July 6) for one of the world’s largest LGBT Pride events.

The vibrant crowd showcased the diversity and unity of the community, turning the city into a colourful and joyous spectacle.

Dozens of LGBT parade floats cheered up the thousands of locals and tourists gathering around one of Madrid’s main avenues and chanting slogans against far-right policies.

The Pride march proceeded along one of Madrid’s main thoroughfares, Prado-Recoletos.
