KUWAIT CITY, June 2: The Public Authority for Manpower has expanded its electronic services for companies to include a request for the accreditation of academic qualifications, according to reliable sources in the Al-Anba newspaper.

These sources outlined the necessary documents for accrediting educational levels and qualifications, ranging from secondary school to doctorate degrees. Applicants must provide a copy of their high school certificate (grade 12) with grades and the original transcript of grades for all academic years. For diploma holders and higher degrees, original certificates with the required stamps and translations of any foreign certificates are mandatory. Additionally, a certificate of professional practice or an approval/license from the relevant authority is required for certain professions. Equivalency from the Ministry of Higher Education, if applicable, should also be provided. For renewals, documents must be uploaded three months before the work permit expires.

In cases where the system rejects a transfer transaction, the worker’s certificates need to be uploaded for review.

The sources confirmed that the transcript must include all academic subjects, educational levels, and years of study from secondary grade 12 through to the doctorate.
