Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met Nagaland governor La Ganesan in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met Nagaland PM Modi discussed the centre’s plans for the Nagaland state on various topics such as security and development.

On February 2023, La Ganesan was appointed as the 19th Governor of Nagaland by President Droupadi Murmu. Before Nagaland, he assumed the office of Governor of West Bengal.

La Ganesan is a former member of parliament, he was also appointed as the General Secretary of Tamil Nadu In his political career.

Earlier on Thursday, on the occasion of National Sports Day (Major Dhyan Chand’s birthday), Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his heartfelt tribute to the legendary hockey player.

In his tweet earlier today, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the importance of recognizing all those who have passionately contributed to sports and proudly represented India on the global stage.

PM Modi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting sports at all levels to create an ecosystem where every young Indian can aspire to play and shine.
