Rajnath Singh to visit US for strategic talks

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit the United States from August 23 to 26, following an invitation from US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. During his visit, Singh will engage in bilateral discussions with Secretary Austin and also meet with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

The visit comes at a time of increasing cooperation between India and the US, particularly in the defense sector. It is expected to further enhance the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership between the two nations.

Singh will also lead a high-level roundtable with US defense industry representatives to explore ongoing and future defense collaborations. He is also scheduled to interact with the Indian community in the US during his stay.
