Watch: This Unique ‘Flower Butter’ Is Getting A Thumbs Up From Foodies

Butter is a staple ingredient in kitchens all over the world. From cakes to burgers, it is used in many of our favourite dishes. In any supermarket, we can find different varieties of butter such as salted, sweet cream, clarified, organic, plant-based, and grass-fed. But have you ever heard about flower butter? If not, you must check out a video making rounds on the Internet. In the clip, a woman guides us through all the steps of making this unique kind of butter. Surprisingly, the internet is loving this creation and posting positive reactions.
The process begins with taking two blocks of softened butter and mixing them with lemon zest until a creamy consistency is reached. The butter is then rolled in parchment paper and stored in the fridge to set. Next, another sheet of parchment paper is taken, and edible flowers and herbs are spread on it. Once the sheet is fully covered with flowers, the chilled cylinder-shaped butter is taken out of the fridge and rolled between the flowers. The butter, now wrapped in parchment paper, goes back into the refrigerator to chill. Once chilled, the flower butter is taken out and enjoyed with a piece of bread.

And butter is so easy to make: whip heavy cream until it separates the solids from the liquid. Add a little salt and you’re done. Save the liquid for other recipes,” read a comment.
