First things first, let us take a moment to admire the sustainable fashion choice Khushi Kapoor made by donning her mother late Sridevi’s gown to the premiere of her debut movie The Archies. Boney Kapoor’s youngest daughter paid homage to her mother in a heart warming way on the red carpet by donning a stunning gold Kaufman Franco vintage gown that was worn by her late mother to the IIFA 2013 red carpet.

The strapless bandeau style sans-shoulder ensemble was laden with sequin embellishment and featured a zip closure, body-hugging silhouette and a short train that added a regal touch to the look by stylist Priyanka Kapadia. Khushi's hair, makeup and accessories were kept chic with a diamond choker decorated around her neck, a pair of sparkling solitaires, a sleek bun for her tresses, a shimmery eyeshadow and a glossy nude lip.

But it wasn't just one Kapoor sister who went the slow fashion route. Khushi's cousin Sonam Kapoor picked her mother Sunita Kapoor’s 35-year-old maroon Gujarati gharchola as she attended a friend’s wedding. The mother-of-one looked exquisite as she completed the look with a gajra worn over her half-tied hair and kundan workjhumkas, maang tika and a necklace.

Ananya Panday delivered a recycled fashion moment by wearing her mother Bhavna Panday midi green dress that featured embroidery and a sweetheart neckline. The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor rounded off the look with a black hued Bottega Veneta clutch, gold hoops, an effortlessly rosy makeup look and her hair worn loose over her shoulders.

Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen chose sustainable fashion by re-wearing her stunning golden Manish Malhotrasaree with an sequin embellished silver border to Shilpa Shetty’s Diwali bash that she had previously worn on the Koffee With Karan set back in the year 2005. Both times, Sushmita paired it with a nude glam makeup look and her hair in a salon-style blow out.

Last but certainly not the least, how can we forget Alia Bhatt's famous sustainable fashion moment when she re-wore her ivory Sabyasachi wedding saree as she attended the 69th National Awards. While the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor had a veil over her head, kundan jewellery, open tresses and a nude makeup look completed with her Charlotte Tilbury lipstick on her wedding day; she went for a messy bun done by hairstylist Amit Thakur completed with a red bindi courtesy celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor and a pearl and kundan choker and matching statement earrings to add the finishing touches to her look.
