CSK Stars’ Comments On Rayudu’s Post Mocking RCB Take Internet By Storm

Former India, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ambati Rayudu has mocked Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) with an Instagram post following their playoff exit from the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) ongoing season on Wednesday. RCB suffered a four-wicket loss against Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator encounter at Narendra Modi Stadium to end their six-match winning campaign in the season. Taking to Instagram, Rayudu shared a video of Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Moeen Ali and Devon Conway enjoying their last year’s IPL title indicating five with their hands. He captioned the post, “Just a kind reminder from the 5-time champions. Sometimes a gentle reminder is required”.

Fliers On Turbulent Singapore Airlines Plane Suffered Brain, Spine Injuries

Passengers on a Singapore Airlines flight that hit extreme turbulence over Asia suffered skull, brain and spinal injuries, the head of a Bangkok hospital said Thursday.
Twenty people remain in intensive care in the Thai capital, where flight SQ321 made an emergency landing on Tuesday after the terrifying high-altitude ordeal.
The Boeing 777-300ER hit what an airline official described as “sudden extreme turbulence” over Myanmar, sending passengers and crew flying and slamming some into the ceiling.
A 73-year-old British man died and 104 people were injured on the flight, which was carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew from London to Singapore.
Adinun Kittiratanapaibool, director of Bangkok’s Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, said his staff were treating six people for skull and brain injuries, 22 for spinal injuries, and 13 for bone, muscle and other injuries.
“We have never treated people with these kinds of injuries caused by turbulence,” he told reporters.

FAA – 90-day Deadline For Boeing Quality Fixes Approaching

The end of May is coming and with it, the deadline that the FAA gave Boeing, to present a plan to fix its quality control and safety culture.
Boeing continues to suffer from the aftermath of last January’s Alaska Airlines 737 MAX-9 door plug blowout. About a month after that event came the publication of a previously-commissioned, FAA report on Boeing’s safety culture. It made for troubling reading.
Photo: NTSBThe report suggested a six-month deadline, for Boeing to address its shortcomings. The FAA amended that requirement, giving Boeing just 90 days, to come up with a plan to address its safety culture and the quality control issues that the MAX-9 blowout brought to light.
Some analysts like Scott Hamilton in Leeham News reported on industry doubts that Boeing will meet that deadline. But either way, Boeing itself acknowledges that its predicament will last much longer than that.
